Privacy Policy

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information through our authentication provider (Clerk). If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive basic profile information from those providers.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics data about how you use the Service, including pages visited, tools used, and feature interactions. This data is processed through PostHog and is used to improve the Service.

Support Data: When you contact us through Crisp live chat or our contact form, we collect your name, email, and the content of your communications.

Payment Data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.

We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service, (b) process transactions and send related information, (c) send technical notices, updates, and support messages, (d) respond to your comments, questions, and requests, (e) monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience.

We do NOT use your uploaded files for AI training, advertising, or any purpose other than providing you the requested service. Browser-based tools process files entirely on your device — your files never leave your browser.

For AI-powered tools that require server processing, your files are encrypted during transmission, processed in memory, and permanently deleted immediately after processing. We do not retain copies of your files.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including: HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, and access controls for internal systems.

Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel's global edge network. Database services are provided by Supabase with row-level security policies.

However, Toolhive is currently in active development (beta). We do not guarantee that our security measures are complete, error-free, or immune to all threats. No method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information. You share information with us at your own risk during this development period.

We use essential cookies required for the Service to function, including session management and authentication cookies provided by Clerk.

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with our tools. PostHog collects anonymous usage data and respects Do Not Track browser settings.

Crisp live chat may set cookies to maintain chat sessions and provide support functionality.

We do not use cookies for advertising or sell cookie data to third parties. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We share information with the following third-party services, solely to operate the Service:

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your information. We encourage you to review their policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing purposes.

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate data, (c) request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), (d) export your data in a portable format, (e) withdraw consent for data processing at any time, (f) opt out of marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, you can: delete your account from the Account settings page, email us at binacodex@gmail.com, or contact us through our Contact page.

We will respond to all data rights requests within 30 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the reason and extension period.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to individual users.

Support conversation history through Crisp is retained for up to 12 months to improve our support quality, after which it is automatically deleted.

Toolhive is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable, to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

Toolhive is an early-access (beta) product under active development. Features, settings, and data handling may change at any time as we build and improve the Service. Some functionality may be incomplete or experimental.

We do not warrant that the Service is secure, bug-free, reliable, or that your data will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed by unauthorized parties. Any security protections described in this policy are our current best efforts, not a guarantee of outcome.

By using the Service during its development period, you accept that: (a) the Service is provided without any warranty regarding security, accuracy, or availability; (b) you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any files or information you entrust to the Service; (c) we are not liable for any data loss, breach, or damage arising from use of the Service while it remains in beta.
